To be honest I don't know what strong tie means, I am in Alberta since 2013 completed my study here in Accounting, got a job in my field Since 2016 and no siblings. I think strong ties means for how long you've been in Alberta. I have more than 2 years experience in Alberta.
Congrats on being the first chosen for Alberta Express Entry. You said you have worked in Alberta since 2016, why didn't you apply for Ainp earlier?
Plan was to apply in Express Entry, but than I figured out I completed my study in private college so I wasn't getting any points. First year of my work permit I was thinking about just making money and deal with this stuff later ( mind you I had three years work permit) than in second year when I tried than I came to know I don't have enough points for EE nomination and on the same time I got transferred to different location within the company so I had to wait for my probationary period of 6 months to end before submitting a file for AINP.
Finally got my nomination today.
My Timeline for EDS-IG:
File recieved - 22nd nov 2017
Me and my employer got email for documents : July 11 2018 and today got on 12th got my nomination.
Good luck to everyone. They r working abit slow but surely they will process the files.

I guess its not a problem as long as u do what ur job description says, now its on employer how many ppl he has to work for him, one or two shouldnt matter.
Bro, I am so worried now. My situation is the same as urs, and my work permit will expire in Sep 03. My file was received in 7th Dec. I have no idea with my case!
no updates and i am not too sure if i will get it or not cause my work permit expires soon
