Processing time for Open work permit?

I have also applied for PR & OWP for my spouse on 30th April, No news till now.
What is your position?? Have you got it ??

Our mailed in Application was received on July 3rd and we haven't been able to link it to our online account yet. I am Canadian sponsoring my American husband and we included the open work permit. I will update when we hear back from them and give a final timeline.

Takes 6-8 weeks.

6-8 weeks is just for AOR. Yes there is some variability in processing times. More straightforward applications where background checks may be faster could be processed quicker.

Hi Kimberley,

Did your husband received open work permit? If so, could you please advise, how long it took? I applied for Intra company transfer, my wife's open work permit & my child TRV online from USA on 8/3 and I got my approval but their petitions are still pending. I was wondering how long does it take for open work permit to get processed. Please advise.

Hi Guys,
Can anybody tell me if any of you have got any updates for the spouse open work permit visa status.
Since i have applied on 25th July 2018 from India and by then only i did not received any updates in the visa status yet. It has been more than six weeks now.

Please let me know if any one of you have got any response in this.

Hi!

I will be applying for a PR (sponsoring my husband) and together with this application we would like to apply for a OWP for my husband. Is this possible if we are outside of Canada?

My question is mainly regarding the OWP since I've read different answers. Thanks!
