I got my Oath invite on July 10th for August 8th, please update the record...

Can I bring any one with me to attend the ceremony ?

Congrats! Yes you can take a family member or friend with you. However they can’t sit with you as guests have a separate seating area behind applicants.

She will still be invited for the interview first and then after DM, be invited for oath. If you had the RCMP send it to IRCC, you can pretty much rest assured that they have the FP. There won't be a notification of receipt in ECAS.

Ok, I see. Yes, thats right. When we went to the fingerprints place; they said they will send the fingerprints to the RCMP and RCMP will then forward it to IRCC. Its just that its been 3 months and we havent heard anything yet so was wondering if this is normal. Should my mom contact IRCC and ask for an update?

If it'll make you feel better, I suppose she could do. 3 months (or longer) is not out of the norm. It may well take a while longer for the interview invite.

I see, o my god; 5 months! WOW. Well, my mom doesnt need a test as she is over 54 and is exempt from test. Now, its just a matter of them responding and inviting for oath I guess....

Your mother still need to have an interview stage (test/interview invite) to go over documents / passport before DM stage and then on to oath invite.

It does not matter whether it is listed on ECAS if you have the paper copy from the mail. The paper copy is what you need to show at CIC office to be able to come in at appointed time to write your test/interview. The ECAS will likely update anytime soon.

Congrats, how long did it take from DM to invitation letter ?

I got DM right after the test - in a day or two on April 15th and oath invitation came out today.
