hello friends

I have been following this thread since 3 months and here is my brief story.

I appeared in IELTS on 21 april-18), I got 9,9, 6.5 and 7.5. ( B.C.)............I was reluctant to apply for EOR and then I came across this forum where there were a lot of candidates sailing in the same boat, which gave me courage to apply for EOR.

acknowledgement of EOR came on 16 may and I received TRF through courier this evening (09-july) and to my surprise, there was an increase of 1 band in writing.....................FINAL SCORE-----9, 9, 7.5, 7.5... IELTS over .

I was confident this time time regarding my writing attempt.

P.S.- if you have understood the question well, maintaintained a clear position throughout, explained your stance with relevant examples, made 4-5 paragraphs in total.....then..nobody can stop you from scoring band 7. My handwriting is horrible and i used very-very simple vocabulary..

2nd attempt 2nd june LRSW - 8.5,9,6.5,6.5

Applied for EOR acknowledgement received on - 2nd July . What are the chances of getting a positive reval?

So I applied for my EOR two months ago (BC). I called them this week and they said they haven't received anything yet. I was checking the BC website for results and it was showing 'Result not available' which is logical since I applied for EOR. However, today I check their website results and find the old results is back. Is that an indication that the new result has not changed? has anyone had a similar experience?

Got my EOR result today.
Happy to report that I got a raise of 0.5 band in writing.
Test Date : 24th March 18 (BC)

Score before EOR: L8 R7.5 W6.5 S8

Score after EOR: L8 R7.5 W7 S8

Hey man, after having a new score, does your old score still appear in the British council website when entering the test date information?

Guys finally my journey with IELTS is finished now.

I have applied EOR for 21 april in writing as i was confident enough and by god grace its cleared now.

EOR applied on 19 may and i received my result yesterday

LRWS -8/8/7/7

Still i have two results pending one is the EOR for speaking for 24 may exam

And other is 30 june exam whose result will be out on friday

Total attempt given :7

following are my IELTS scores:
LRWS

1st attempt: 8.0 8.0 6.5 6.5
2nd attempt: 8.0 8.5 7.0 6.5 (EOR applied didnt get the increase)
3rd attempt : 8.0 9.0 6.5 6.5
4th attempt: 7.5 9.0 6.5 7.0
5th attempt: 7.5 9.0 7.0 7.0 (MOST HURTING ATTEMPT i was kicking myself for a mistake in listening)
6th attempt: 8.0 9.0 7.5 6.5 (again applied for EOR)
7th attempt: Applied as well.... NEVER GIVE UP...

Good luck guys.... At the end of the day... its just another failure. but u learn a lot out of it.

In each of my attempts i lost some and i gained some..

Hope there are few who gave more attempts than me as well...

This message is just to make someone who is down and out.. thinking to give up..

Dear All!!!

I am Back Again....

Got my EOR Results. BC! Positive!!!! Speaking result 6.5 increased to 7.5.

6TH ATTEMPT: L R W S 8.0 9.0 7.5 7.5

in the waiting time for my EOR results, i gave my 7th attempt which was a failed attempt as well. 8.0 9.0 7.0 6.5

One advise guys: Just with these positive news from few people like us, don't go blindly for Remarking. Only if you are very confident with your performance, go for it. Another whole-hearted attempt is always better than applying for EOR. Remember!! it took 6 unsuccessful attempts for me! Hope you all clear this hurdle soon and get back to hell a lot of work ahead!

Last time when u called to customer care and what they said ?

I applied in hyderabad, India. They said the result got declared and they hve sent the TRF to communication address and provided me with the tracking number

Which country you gave the exam in? it was rather fast for you. Within 20 days, you got not only the outcome but also the TRF.
