Hi, maraming grounds yung refusal namin.. fisrt time kse namin nag apply last time.. reasons of refusal namin, not enough funds, nag send kme sa knila ng bank accts peso and pound acct, aside from that, bank cert ng mother in law ko from uk na nagsponsor samin. Almost 2.5m yung funds namin, nag send din ako s knila ng mga docs ng business namin, itr, permits, etc.. another reason, travel history, i've been to japan 3times already and nag tour na rin kme sa sg, yung husband ko naman has been to london thrice and nz.. d namin alam kng bakit may ganong reason.. purpose of travel, e ang purpose ko nga ay mag study.. employment prospect, etc.. hindi ko nga maintindhan kng san kme nagkulang.. depende talaga cguro sa vo na mag rereview ng docs.. nakatagpo kme ng strict na vo..

I've been lurking on this forum for awhile now and I can say it has helped me understand the visa processes a lot.
I'm a degree holder in BS HRM and had worked in the US before for a year as a restaurant server for my internship.. Now, I'm planning to take a 1 yr post-diploma certificate in hospitality and tourism so that it is still related to my field. I'm considering Niagara College or Okanagan. Upon completion, I can be granted a year of PGWP as per my understanding, then apply for residency.
When I checked the eligibility requirements for the skilled immigrants, work experience should be at skill type 0 (managerial jobs), or skill levels A (professional jobs such as doctors, architects) or B (technical and skilled, chefs/ electricians, etc.) Unfortunately, food and restaurant server is under skill level C.
My question is if I would work as a restaurant server/host or even a front office attendant at a hotel, does that not qualify me at all? Are there other options/programs for me with that work experience? Or should I really look for higher positions like (supervisorial or restau manager) once I graduated to secure PR? (which I think could be hard since I don't have much experience)
Or do you suggest studying a different course instead? Like culinary? My only problem is I'm not that good at cooking. And I really prefer working in a restaurant or hotel.
I'm really worried and disheartened at this point

First time po namin mg apply thru online po.. wala po kming agency.. sariling sikap lng po pati pag upload ng mga docs..just make sure po na i follow ung mga intstructions precisely.
Hi po, ask ko lang re sa 1st application nyo na narefuse, ilang weeks po ba bago lumabas ang result? Almost same tayo ng profile, yung wife ko ang nag aapply ng SV at dependent ako applying for OWP tapos may 2kids na dependent din. 1st time pa namin mag apply kasi. Submitted paperbased on June8. Wala pa din result yung sa amin.

Walang age limit.
Hindi ka mahihirapan about sa age, yugn concern mo is the gap in studies.
Yung mga 1yr study at 1yr internship malamang private school yan. Make sure na public yan. Also dapat kinukuha mo 2 years diploma para magkaroon ka ng 3 years work permit. Ang golden ticket para maging PR wala sa pagaaral kundi sa skilled work experience na makukuha mo kapag PGWP ka na after mo magaral.

Sir thank you sa response. Nag graduate ako ng bs-hrm 2010 pero nag aral ulit ako ng culinary arts and kakagraduate ko lang ngaun feb2018 issue pa din ba yung gap? Regarding sa school asper ng agency offered daw ng canadian goverment

Sabi din nang agency if maabsorb ng pinag iinternshipan mo pwede ituloy yung studies.
