Hi we have submitted our dox in jan 2018 and on 7 july 6 months r over, still the status is back groung chk is going on, is this normal, why there is a delay and what we shoild do now

cic website says they process 80% of applications within 6 months, for the rest it can take more than 6 months depending on the case. So yes its normal.

Do you have a long travel history or a long work history? Any other thing you might think of that can make your case more complicated than other cases?

Thank you, we have travel history from 1997 to 2016 and work history from 2002
