Hi ,
We are a family of 4, applying together. we received our ITA recently and I am preparing the to submit the application shortly.

We have our funds in 2 separate bank accounts (Split between the two accounts)

Account 1: Savings account in UK - joint account - me and my husband (main applicant)
Account 2 : NRE fixed deposit in India - my account (dependent)

What proof is acceptable ? Is my understanding below correct ?

Account 1: Bank Statement - last 6 months bank statements - the statement show our names and address.

Account 2: Fixed deposit certificate - showing my name and address.

Thanks BMR.

For the bank account, I will ask them to print and sign the statements. I will try.

No need of any letter for FD right?

Just Produce FD receipt ( you will get from bank , or when deposited FD , the receipts might have generated ) received.
your bank statements shows this FD is accurate or not when they verify .. i did the same.

As per CIC guidelines:

1. Balance Certificate from your Bank and Bank Statement signed and stamped (without stamp and sign - PR will be rejected)
2. FDs should be on your name only, that will help.
