Time taken to process PR visa /stamping at New Delhi

It took almost 10months after my application.

10 MONTHS, THAT'S CRAZY .
why so long????

Hello All, i got my PPR on 8th May and submitted PP on 10th may, till now its the same status...
"Visa application, tracking ID No.XXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website. "
Does it take usually soo long just for stamping or will there any additional check's?

Hey, have you received your passport back? If yes, when?
I submitted to VFS New Delhi on 24-May-2018 and the tracking says being processed at Canada visa office, New.

Hi I have received my PR on 24th may and I submitted my passport to VFS Kolkata on 25th May. Still no updates as it's says under processing in New Delhi Visa office. When called VFS they are saying it might take a month or more. Does anyone know it it takes that long?

Hi ‘ I got my PPR for Canada PR on 20th of June. Submitted my passport at the New Delhi VFS on 25th. Passport was forwarded to The high commission on 26th June. I’m still waiting for my passport. I have to travel on 20th July, please let me know how much time it is currently taking for stamping at New Delhi ?

It can take upto 30 days, like in my case.
Sorry to scare you, but I submitted on 25th May and received collection email on 24th June.

You can try dropping an email to this id : delhi-im-enquiry[at]international.gc.ca
Mention Application number in the subject line. In the matter mention Primary applicant name & UCI and your concern about passport.
They will reply with expected date of passport dispatch within 2 days.
It worked for me. All the best!

Hi,
As mentioned earlier, I'm applying PR on spouse visa. So given all the documents to the lawyer on the 29th of Jan 2018..on the cic website : received application on the 30th of Jan 2018..I got medical request on the 23rd of March 2018 and medical done on the 29th of March2018..medical results received on the 31st of march and Husband got a mail saying he is approved as a sponsor on the 4th of April 2018. On the 11th of April got a mail saying that my file has been transferred to the Delhi office for final processing. On the cic website now showing, my file started processing on the 12th of April 2018..what does this mean ?
So now whats the next procedure..how long for the Delhi office to process ? How long to get the passport request mail ?

Even I called Canadain immigration they said now they don’t have any info ,I should call delhi. When I called Delhi imm no one responded. So frustrating while waiting
