Hi Everyone,

I am based in India. now, and I have planned to apply for ExpEntry next month.

I want to know is it worth hiring an agent (they charge Rs.1-2 lacs) or is it manageable to do it solo/by oneself?

Anyone here done it WITHOUT an agent? and got a PR? from what I read it appears to be manageable but I don't know if hiring an agent would help. Please share your views

thanks

even if you did hire an agent, EE puts most of the burden on you like ielts, eca, police certificates etc. agents cant help with that.
Plus agents wont give you access to your own profile so you will be in the dark regarding your application status.
use the 1-2 lakhs for the first couple months rent in canada.

Yes , Agents charge huge money .
Agents just tell us to arrange documents ... thats it...
All the efforts and tasks the person who is applying has to do ...
if you have sufficient time, i recommend , do it yourself.
Try to get good IELTS score , 8 in each to get very good CRS score.
Do thorough research in "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry.html"

Just do it yourself, overall process is pretty straight forward such as getting ECA & IELTS then creating profile and waiting for ITA. While waiting for ITA, apply for PCC if PCC takes longer to obtain and work on obtaining experience letters. Once you have everything ready, just apply as the form is pretty self explanatory and there is tons of help available on the forum. I and thousand others have done all these ourselves. Save that 1-2 lakh instead, it will help you with settlement funds.
