Hello wonderful men and ladies, like many of you I too wish to migrate to Canada in near future and I have started my preparations for it. I wish to get some clarity on the ECA to be done through WES. I have registered with WES and have received the reference number. I am having some confusion regarding the documents to be sent to WES. Hope you all will be generous enough to help me overcome my dilemma. To give a little background about myself and the reason behind this post, I hold a Master’s degree in Management studies and I am hoping to get a transcript for submitting to WES.
I read in the WES website that they need Bachelor’s degree documents as well for completing the evaluation, so my question is,
a) Do I have to get transcripts for both Master’s and Bachelor’s? I read somewhere that we need to get transcripts only for our highest degree. If that’s the case then will it suffice if I send plain xerox copies (without any attestation) of my bachelor’s degree along with the original transcript for Master’s?
b) Do we need to do a separate attestation for our degree/marklist along with our application for transcript? I am asking this because when I went to my university and asked for the instructions to apply for transcripts, they told that I will have to get the degree certificates and mark lists of both Master’s and Bachelor’s attested as well while applying for transcript. For the attestation they are charging a hefty fee as well.
