Hi Hello,

I have a question for a friend.

My friend is planning to start a branch of his company in Canada. He will apply for ICT- startup work permit and hoping to get the 1 year work permit.

After working for 1 year also, he won't have enough point to apply under CEC.

Can he apply for an extension after one year of CEC and get additional points for work permit? How can we increase his points?

Please guide.

He wants to plan if it makes any sense in starting a branch here and applying.

I have one query if you can please help. Can any managerial level employee Apply for ICT startup category to help their newly open Canadian Branch? I really need info on this. Our current company recently open branch in Canada and my boss want me over there so am I eligible as Project Manager to join Canadian Branch.

I think you have to check the ICT visa requirements. However it's only for temporary stay and not for PR.
