Hi DRajpoot,

Have already booked an appointment for my medicals. I have not counted but have been mailing them since January but they seem to only reply when they want to. They reply rate is only 1%. I might have emailed them more than 100 times but have been replied only twice to be exact.

With the case of p_shar, I myself have put trust on him and provided him my details. Yes its dangerous to provide details to an unknown person but I have taken that risk. Lets see what happens. But will definitely keep your advice in mind.

Hi Guys

They have changed my status from "You do not need a medical exam" to "Review of medical results: We are reviewing the results of your medical exam." I provided upfront medicals and the status was "You have passed medical exam." But medical expired on 30th May 2018. So it changed to "You do not need a medical exam".

At the same time they have emailed me to retake the medical exam. What does this mean? Can some shed some light on this.

@cian , it is good news. it means the security screening is completed.Based on some applicants' experience whose application is processed in London visa office, you may get either additional request for bio-page & height or directly PPR after you passed medical within two weeks to one month time period. I don't know about the processing time in New Delhi visa office. I wish you good luck.

Anyone here who refused by NSNP and appeal again? Do they consider appeal? I was Sep,2015 applicant and refused in Oct 2016 due to unable to submit new IELTS. Though till that time, my IELTS was valid and to stay in safe side, i request them to extent my time but eventually they refused. According to their application guideline, they take more or less three months. But in my case they took 13 months which is unreasonable. will it work if i send a request letter highlighting the facts?

Application guideline says three months from the day they assigned file number not the day your application received their office by courier.
Moreover you said your application get refused in October 2016, Do you want to appeal now ?

I submitted all the docs in May 2017 and still waiting... Nothing more we can do other than waiting... Their is no pattern to IRCC's madness... I have checked and my application is taking long with no reason... So you have to be patient.... They will contact you whenever they need to...

Other than that you can do the following things:
- Order GCMS notes (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-order-gcms-notes-step-by-step-process.513893/)
- Call them (+16139444000, +18882422100,+18885768502)
- Email them using IRCC Webform and personal mail (i.e. DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca)
- Or find some agent who are affiliated with IRCC and can get information on your application from IRCC on your behalf.
- Tell a relative or friend who are in Canada currently and can regularly call the above phone numbers and get information for you. Register those friends or relative as a representative of yours, so that they can get info on your behalf.
- Get hold of a Canadian Diplomat or MP who can help you out.

I don't see any other way other than these.

Hi pshar,

I was asked for remedical which I went through on 28th of June and my status changed to medical passed on 7th of July. I was hoping to know if someone's application has been through a special unit. What is this special unit? What does it do? Why my application is transferred to it? How long does it take for a special unit to review? My documents are all genuine so I have nothing to worry about. Lets see what happens.
