I got a job offer letter from a filiberto construction group company in canada and they ask me to signed offer letter along with my passport educational qualification documents and addresa proof and send back to them by scanning its.after that they send me a appointment letter for visa processing file and they also ask me that they appoint a immigration officer for assistant me.i want to know that it is a real or froud

But it cannot be clearer in the link supplied Filiberto construction does not exist, the job offer is fake, the physical address in Canada belongs to another genuine construction company.

These people prey on people desperate to emigrate to Canada, they take copies of documents which they may or may not use in an ID theft scam, they introduce people to an agent who for a fee makes out they can guarantee a permit which they cannot.

They offer unrealistic salaries, pay for flights, accommodation, food and in some instances try convincing people by even offering flights home, none of which genuine companies would likely do. Really it is pretty simple to assess if anything is genuine or not, websites created in last few months even cloned from genuine sites, bad grammar in offer letters , unrealistic job conditions and physical address quoted that belongs to someone else or some cases in Google a residential street.

Also For a temporary work permit the employer pays for an LMIA and any advertising for the job to ensure no resident is available.

Personal advice is to put it down to experience and if you have already shared documentation that’s unfortunate but I would break off contact with them as they probably will still try to appear convincing.

The only real way to emigrate to Canada is through an official program, it is very rare if not impossible to secure a job offer from outside Canada unless someone has a rare talent not readily available in Canada.

This address belongs to another company and if you check that companies website and Filiberto website you will find many pages on the Filiberto site that have been cloned from the real company website even with Filiberto claiming business partnerships that the real company owns. In fact if you access the partner company websites you will find no mention of Filiberto but only the real company.

And anyway who these days interviews via mail and not Skype for a move from one side of the world to the other.

It is an almost well prepared fake job offer with plenty of gaps if you look hard enough or more to the point if someone wants to look hard enough.

As for google then of course you will get a result the moment a real or fake website has been set up. Even if you google the address 585 Michigan drive you will see the real construction company name.

Best way to determine a fake/scam:

• Did you actually apply to the company. If not, probably a scam.
• Companies do not send letters that start with “Greeting of the Day” “Dear UN-named individual”, “Hello from xxxxx”
• There are no special diplomatic preferences given to FTW.
• No one hires without face to face interviews.
• No one pays accommodation
• No one get 6 weeks vacation unless you are the CEO
• There are no free lunches....literally. Or breakfast or dinner for that matter.
• Companies don’t discuss the bureauocracies....they exist, but the don’t discuss them openly. .
• Scammers make up websites to fool potential marks (like you and thousands of others)

Feel free to send them your info and money they will ask for....there is no job.

Send your letter to the Career e-mail and ask them if it’s real. Note the company name is Davie, not Chantier-Davie.
