Got 10 years of Visitor Visa , after refusal in last year .

So will it gonna take more time? I a applied on 29 June and my purpose of visit is 15 August...I m worried about time frame...will I get positive decision by 15 August?

I have one question , we(me &father) have applied to visit canada to attend birthday party of my nephew held on 8th july, today i have seen online that they have approved visa till September 2027. I have not received my passport yet( hopefully on 6th july, i will receive).
So, now my question is that is it compulsory that i have to visit canda before 8th july or otherwise i will face problem in entering canada.

Congrats. I did believe you had good chances of a TRV approval

Travel plans can change. You can travel absolutely anytime during the validity of your TRV. You won't face any problems if the purpose of your visit changes from your nephew's birthday to simply visiting your family later

Just FYI. My brother and sister in law applied TRV at VFS CHD on 8June2018, got approval and received 10years visa on 29June. Flying to Canada 8July, 2018.
