Hi

I applied for study visa on 29 May via vfs global Pune. Not able to link my application online.

Couple of queries

1. I don't have family name(surname) on passport. So is there a way to link application online without family name.

2. I didn't receive acknowledgement letter yet. Is it mandatory to receive that mail?

Now I am only tracking my application by vfs global tracking portal. It says your application has been processed in Bangalore Canada visa office

Any solution/answer will be very helpful.Thanks in advance

What is the exact problem you are having? What exactly did you put on the application form?

This is what you are supposed to do with application if there is no surname in passport

• If the passport has a “Given Name” but no “Surname”, please only enter the name(s) in the application field for “Family Name”. Leave the “Given Name” field of the application form blank.

I put the name in application form same as passport.

The biggest problem I am facing is that I am not able to link the application online and hence not able to track exact status like if medical is approved or not.

2. Given name family name and dob
3. Application number and family name
4. Application number and UCI

I don't have uci and application no with me and if try second combination,I am not sure what should be written in family name and given name then.

I am stuck here.Can you pls help?

Your passport doesn't have surname, the permit application form cant be validated without filling in family name field because it is required field, you say you put the same as passport which doesn't seem possible.

Actually my agent helped me to fill the form and validate it. I am not sure what exactly we did but yes we were able to validate it. I think she knew what to do during application form filling if a person don't have a surname.

hi bro.. i'm too facing similar issue.. I have surname on my passport still.. dont know what to do.. Did my visa application on 1st june .. havent yet recieved uci mail also..

If it says file has been processed then soon you gonna receive your passport.. keep checking vfs site
