I called cic and the agent told me that they are still reviewing my eligibility .. my aor is 6th March. I asked him which Visa office has been allocated to me and he said still they are reviewing your eligibility. That's the only information they have. Now what does that mean that since 4 months no body has worked on my file ??
Same situation. I am in 2nd March AOR. Yesterday they told me that they are reviewing my eligibility and visa office is Ottawa. Background check will start shortly. That's all.

Sir i needed some information from the Canadian help line in regards to my previous application but when i called the agent asked me UCI number, DOB, and name and then asked me for a Local phone number and i hesitated as i was in USA but he asked are you in Canada sir,,, to which i said yes by mistake and then he asked me for address and phone number which i gave of my frends details. Thus after that i hung up as i thought he might put all this in my file if i complete the call. So now i am stuck and very much worried as i am in USA and i said i was in canada to the agents question. my question is will it impact my furture application, what do you advise in regards to this ??

It will have no impact on your application at all.

Guys I sent my passports and now I realized I made a mistake, i did not include my name and birth date in the photographs I sent to IRCC along with my passports. What can I do? Do I need to be worried? Do I inform them using webform?
Did the VFS people not ask you to do so?

Congratulations!

P.S.: The good part is that it seems like those who moved to IP2 last week are getting their PPRs this week (exactly 6-7 days later).

Nah! Not really,I went into IP2 stage on June 19th and yet no golden mail...when called up CIC, the agent said my eligibility was in process and bg as well....hopefully this week will end the anticipation...praying

these rules aren't applicable to all - it's arbitrary. Fingers crossed!

Rightly said. Moved to IP2 on 11-June and still waiting. Like you said, this week shall end the anticipation... hopefully!

I have been on IP2 since March 29 . Mine went from medical passed to direct IP2. But my GCMS notes dated May 23 says eligibility Review still going on. Criminality passed and medical passed. Not sure how long it would take.

if you moved to IP2 right at the beginning of your application (within the first 45-50 days of AoR), I have noticed that there's a decent amount of wait time for sure except for a handful. Everything is YMMV before someone calls this observation out as BS.
