My Immigration lawyer just told me that I have an interview at cic Surrey office as I am on implied status. Does anyone know for what it is??

I have one more doubt. I had applied for visa extension till 15th july although it is under process till now and my interview is on 17th July..so does it create problem..

I have applied for CEC inland on April 29th, and got an email for a permanent residency landing interview today. The thing is CIC did not ask me PPR. They asked me bring passport and photos along with me in the interview session. Does anyone have an idea what to be asked in the interview? This makes me nervous since my lawyer said this is her first case that request for an interview without PPR in ontario anyway I believe it is a good news and a really fast process! Did not expect it to be happened this fast

Your are not the first in Ontario. I have two CEC friends landed at IRCC etobicoke office. It’s standarding Landing questions, this is due to workload redistribution and IRCC etobicoke has approved your application rather than Ottawa VO

Did your friends also require an interview without PPR and Copr?? What a relief! The letter states that you need an interview to finalize permanent residency.

No ppr and no copr. Copr is printed at the end of appointment.
