    Thank you for making your application to visit Canada! We have received a large number of visitor visa applications from clients wanting to visit Canada at the same time as you.



    We want to assure you that your application is in process and is proceeding normally. We continue to process the applications as quickly as possible.



    Please remember we will contact you through the contact details you provided if any information is required or when your application is ready to be finalized. We appreciate your patience and ask that you contact our office ONLY if there is a change in:



    · your mailing address, e-mail address, or phone number

    · your passport

    · other NEW information relevant to your application (for example you want to withdraw your application, or you want to add /revoke a representative)



    If you need to update your information, send itto our office once, using only one method (Online Account or the Web form on the IRCCwebsite oremail). Please remember it is important to use your V32xxxxxfor any communication with us about this file.



    There are some things you can do to help us toprocess:

    § Create an Online Account to check for status updates, and upload any documents that werequest through your online account. Documents submitted this way reach an officer faster. To create an Online Account please note your application number is V32xxxxx and visitour website:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp.

    § Please do not send us documents unless we have requested them. Your application is inqueue for processing and sending us information we have not requested pulls resources away from file processing. If we need information, we will contact you.

    § Please send all attachments (for example: new passport information) in PDF format for faster processing.

    § Be patient. Your application is in queue for processing and we will contact you if we need any additional information.



    Did you know? Sending case status enquiries or multiple documents takes resources away from file processing, resulting in longer processing times. We know you want to be sure we received your message, but sending us the same information multiple times pulls resources away from file processing, resulting in longer processing times for everyone.



    Why do processing times change? Processing times tell you how long it took to process applications in the past after receiving a complete application package. Processing times can vary depending on how many applications we received or if additional documents are required. Not sure if additional documents are required? Im a Colombian with a F1 USA Visa. Never been in Canada but with several tourist visas from USA. I’m applying from USA for a Canadian tourist visa.
I applied on June 4th
Received an update for the biometrics on June 7th and so far I have not received any answer.
Is that normal?

My parents applied for a visitor visa on MAy 2018 at Delhi. Still under processing. Is there anyone who has applied after this date and got their visa?

I applied Visitor visa Application for my Parents on June 9, Father as principal Applicant; Received mother's passport request on June 28. But not of Father till yet and the status is same. today recvd email from Immigartion New Delhi regarding my father's application that that they have rcvd large number of applictns and possible delays etc..
Is there any chance of refusal or normal procedural delays..?

What I think its also depends on the purpose of visit and the date of arrival you mention on the application. Let say, someone is going to attend the ceremony or event on particular day and applied 3-4 weeks prior will definitely get decision before the event date. What about you, purpose of visit? date of arrival in canada you mentioned on form?

Applied on 11th june, file processing started on 14th june, got my visa approved on 4th july till September 2027.

But I have one question , we(me &father) have applied to visit canada to attend birthday party of my nephew held on 8th july, today i have seen online that they have approved visa till September 2027. I have not received my passport yet( hopefully on 6th july, i will receive).
So, now my question is that is it compulsory that i have to visit canda before 8th july or otherwise i will face problem in entering canada.
Plz help
