Me too, my test was in Scarborough and I live in scarborough but got oath is in mississauga. I don't think our files were transferred I just think we were in queue and mississauga had availability. I called IRCC a couple of times before and they told me my file was not transferred.I received the oath invite by regular mail and the ceremony is at Mississauga and I did my test in Scarborough. So my application got transferred to Mississauga
Have you checked your ECAS? Any updates?Congratulations, our time lines are almost same, I am hoping to hear some good news next week.
also I applied for ATIP notes but no reply from them . its exactly one month today. I hope all is well
Hi,For the passport application. Someone please answer my query.
My oath ceremony is July 17
I’ve booked days off from work July 21-31 and yet didn’t book a vacation in anticipation of oath ceremony
Now that I know the date, if I apply for the passport how will I get my passport in time for July 21 ? Can I apply for urgent processing? If I book my vacation and show them as proof can they process it in time ? If not my money will be wasted
Thanks in advance for answering my query
Updated. Congrats!!Hey all,
I got my oath invitation on Friday for July 31st. Im hoping to connect with some of you at scarborough center that day, it will be fun.
best of luck to all waiting for oath invite, men what pain in the rear, to me it was a 4 month wait which it wasnt bad comparing to others still waiting.
Cheers
Your child cannot sit with you as the seats are numbered and are only for the oath recipients of that ceremony.Hello All,
Can my child who is 3.5 years old (who is already Canadian) sit with me and my family during the ceremony ? or do I have to make separate arrangements for her to be in reserved area with a family or guest ?
appreciate feedback from anyone who has had or know of this scenario and how to manage
** wishing all waiting members to get oaths soon!
Regards

If your child is willing to sit alone, I’m sure that shouldn’t be an issue.
However, I’d say, knowing children that young, you’re best off arranging that she sit with someone
Quite honestly, I wouldn’t risk itThank you - not even on your lap ?
Congrats, sounds like it would be a festive event! So it appears we've been invited to some kind of special ceremony being run in partnership with the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and it is being held at Pearson airport. There are roundtable discussions, the ceremony itself and then a reception afterwards with refreshments, cake and photographs (so it says!).
It seems to take a few hours, but it's kind of nice having something a bit more special, particularly after the hassle involved with the PPQ-QA exercise!
I'm in the same situation, i have a 2.5 year old Canadian child, during my interview the officer suggested we bring her to the ceremony and have her sit on my/or my wife's lap.Hello All,
