Hello,
I finally got another awesome job in Canada!
The company hired an immigration office to deal with my case.
I talked today with them and I explained that I'm eligible for a PR via Express Entry, that I don't have enough points now (256) and that soon as I got the LMIA / Work Permit, then, I'll have enough points to finally receive my ITA.
However, they told me that this will not going to happen! They said that a new LMIA / Work Permit will give me only about 50 extra points and even with (18 months of CEC - NOC 2171), I'll never receive an ITA via EE.
They also said that my only option to receive my PR, is via the so called "Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)".
So, here is my question:
Is this accurate?!
I hired CanadaVisa.com to manage my EE profile, hoping that I would receive my PR after getting a new job and, so far, all the information that I have, from both CanadaVisa.com and from wwimmigration.ca is that soon as I have the LMIA/WP, I'll then, have enough points to receive the ITA.
But the new immigration office told me that this isn't true anymore.
Who is right here?
Thanks!
Thiago
