my mother is currently in Canada breast cancer patient, she had her surgery waiting for radiotherapy, her present health insurance(manulife) is going to expire soon but they put condition that Next purchase won’t cover the cancer related treatment so I am wondering which company takes cancer patient ? Could any one help me ? My mom currently waiting for her permanent residency decision in the grounds of h&c.

No insurance company will provide new cover for a pre-existing condition while it is under active treatment.

The short answer is there's absolutely no way to get insurance to cover her cancer related treatments. There are insurance companies that may cover your mother - however not for any treatment that is either directly or indirectly related to the cancer. Keep in mind that insurance companies are in the business of making money. So they are not going to give someone coverage in a situation where they know they will end up paying more than they receive in insurance premiums.

Yes they already told me that so I am going to buy again with manulife but for other emergencies. Right now I desperately need my mother’s first stage approval , I already informed Cic about her situation,( as half of the treatments are done )I don’t know how they are going to take this . Mentally I am getting depressed as I am her only child and there is no one in my country to take care of her . It’s been 7 months for application and two months since they started processing, I have to save my mother’s life all I need is prayers as you can imagine my situation

Unfortunately CIC won't expedite processing due to medical conditions. Having said that, it does seem like a lot of first stage approvals come in at around the eight month mark. So hopefully you are very close to that decision being made.
