I just noticed that 5th line appeared for me , saying oath ceremony is on July 30th 9am, still haven’t received the email yet.

My time line:
App received: 28 Aug, 2017
IP: 1, nov 2017
Test: 17 Jan 218 ( Scarborough)
DM: 18 Jan 2018
Oath invite: no email yet only ecas updated today for 30th July 9am ceremony

Will update you guys once I get email from IRCC

I wonder about the validity of that, though. If the BG really expires, there should be pretty widespread reporting of that happening in the forum.

I think there was a mention somewhere in another thread that background checks are valid for 12 months, which sort of aligns with the "maximum processing time" for routine applications. If the 12 months validity for BG checks is true, this should be a very rare scenario where the application exceeds 12 months from the AOR date (i mentioned AOR not application received date, as i think AOR date is the earliest time when a BG check can actually begin).

Just sharing a timeline for those who got randomly selected for the PPQ-QA exercise. Seems they are keeping to what they said, in terms of it not ultimately causing any major delays.

Application sent: October 12th, 2017
Application Received: October 16th, 2017
AOR: November 22nd, 2017
In Process: December 4th, 2017
PPQ-QA Received: December 19th, 2017 (sent date was December 9th, 2017)
PPQ-QA Completed & Sent: January 23rd, 2018 (received January 24th, 2017)
Test Invite Received: March 28th, 2018 (sent date was March 22nd, 2018)
Test Date: April 13th, 2018
Decision Made: May 23rd, 2018
Oath Invite Sent: June 27th, 2018 (ECAS showed 5th line on June 28th, 2018; not yet received email or letter)
Oath Date: July 19th, 2018

2 things, I need some advice in that.

First : I also did not receive ATIP notes Yet,

Second: surprisingly, my status on ECAS was Decision made for past 5 months and now they changed it to In - Progress.... Is it a good thing or bad thing? Please advise

I have the same situation as you
I got DM since Feb 5 and today it changes to in Process again.
I am Mississauga applicatant did test in Scarborough and they transferred my file again to Missississauga
I applied in August 2017, test on Feb 5
