Sponsorship of dependent child residing outside Canada

Hi.. Had a query about filling form IMM1344.

My husband and I have PR and my husband just moved to Canada and is applying to sponsor our minor child. I'm in India with our child now and plan to move to Canada when he gets his PR.

Do we need to have a co-signer on the form? If so, could I be the co-signer though i'm not in Canada?
Also, the form says that we need to provide a declaration from non-accompanying parent if we don't have a co-signer on IMM1344. I'm going to be accompanying our son when he gets his PR, so providing that declaration doesn't seem right.

A co-signer is not required. I don't believe that a completed IMM5604 is required either, as you would be going to Canada with the child.
