Please update the SS.
I've noticed that some info is missing for me.
Invitation was received on March 21, 2018.
I sent SIN (I can explain why from professional point of view, I do not work for IRRCC, but I believe they have the same arrangement with CRA as my organization).
Status for sponsor shows "Decision made" and has two lines ( we received your application and we started processing your application) but does not mention yesterday's SA correspondence.
Status for PR application was "in process" since May 31 (same day when status for sponsor changed to "in process" (I was told that it was not possible, but this happened due to some reason)). Today it changed back to application received ( I guess it means "received by Ottawa"). Gckey has been showing review of eligibility since May 31.
me too, Status for PR application was "in process" since May 29 (same day when status for sponsor changed to "in process" . then it changed back to application received

Your family size will be determined at the time you submit the "Express of Interest". So, assuming that your current family is 6 (including your mom) moving forward and you plan to sponsor your mom in 2019, then your income must meet the requirement for 2016-2017-2018 for SIX people.
The online "express of interest" to sponsor should be available from Jan 2 - Feb 2, if there is nothing special changes

Did you already submit your application? It's already past the deadline to submit that for 2018 round 1.
The family size will be use at time of application. So it would have been 6 if you did submit it few months back.

if I was on maternity leave on EI and can not meet family size of 6 people requirement in year 2015 how does that work as we only get paid 60 percent for wages from government .

They don't care about percents. They care about the net income.

Hi,

I know this is bit confusing but I'm hoping that contacting the right authorities will give you the correct answer.
But like everyone said they don't care about if you were on EI, sick, out of country or anything, all they care is if you meet the income criteria but yes this is still a confusion that do you have to satisfy the income criteria by the size of family that you had in that year say 2015-4 or you have to satisfy by the number of current family members.
What I heard from one of the immigration consultant is that they go back to 1 year so in this year if you are submitting your application say in Jun 2018 ( hope there is 2nd round) then I believe they will take in account the family size of Jun 2017 which is 5 for you.
So what I can say is that its not 4 nor 6 its 5.
But again its my limited knowledge.
I would hope that they should consider the size of family what you had at that time 4 for 2015 and 5 for 16,17 and 6 for 18 and so on.

Good Luck.

Hi there, has anyone who had their application confirmed received any where between May 18 -May 22 able to check online for any kind of status?
i did call, was told they received it, got an application number that starts with XF.... but still can check or link online. I did not receive AOR yet so am guessing you cant do any of those without the AOR is that right? thanks all

I had the weirdest thing happen on my ECAS that I didnt expect to happen. My oath is on the 3rd july.

I was also invited to apply for my parents sponsorship application which I applied last month Mid May.

I have a new section altogether on my ecas above the Citizenship Application(s) that say's

Permanent Residence Application(s)
With my name as the applicant and says application received. When clicked upon it says:

Permanent Residence

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2018.
I suspect its for the parents application that I applied but it is just weird that it says my name as the applicant. Any have any experience with this?
