AOR2 is when the application gets transferred to the VO - OR - when PA's Background check starts.
No one has been able to define what AOR2 is yet.

Previously defined as a new line in ecas that says "we started processing your application on xxxx date", indicating the VO has begun processing the file.

Makes sense to me, I know CPC M does not give out AOR2. Not sure how this will be impacted with the introduction of CPC S or what that looks like.

I thought so too, since there is no file transfer at all.

oh i know what AOR stands for and means, my question was rather 1 or 2. thx

i checked with my nephew he said, application package was received on May 21st not June as I mentioned in my 1st post.
so he should be getting AOR soon i guess?

You will get the AOR2 after your VO, receives your application. This is via Email, and also will show on your ECAS.

I thought that the new checklists said to send the applications to Sydney. I was wondering why yours still instructed you to send the application to Mississauga. I thought maybe you still were working on the old one.
I wish I could feel more relaxed about this whole application process like you. I will scream if the application is sent back to me. I just want to get out of Egypt!

The application was received on June 11, 2018 and I have sent the application to Mississauga. But on the bottom of the email, it says it is from Sydney, NS, so I have no idea which office our application is in now.
