Found work in different NOC after PPR but Before Landing.

Hi guys,

I was able to secure a job from my home country in Canada after PPR. However, my job does not belong to the same NOC that I applied for in my PR application. Can this be a cause for trouble during the landing process? Also, I was planning to spend some money that I had saved in my bank account to show for proof of funds. Would that be a problem since I already have a means of sustaining myself in Canada. I really appreciate your help.

Others can comment, but once you have a PR, you can do any job you want.

I am aware of that. I just wanted to be sure that there are no complications in the landing procedure since PR is granted after successful completion of the landing procedure.

I know how lucky I am!! I guess I was at the right place at the right time. This was probably the 3rd job I had applied for. I can give you one advise, write an extremely strong cover letter. I started getting a lot of responses after writing strong cover letters. Also focus on making 1-2 quality applications rather than applying for every opportunity online with a standard resume/cover letter.
