bachelors diploma too big for scanner, suggestions?

Hi, im in process of prepping the documents for application and my bachelors degree certificate is on a paper that is larger than A4 and wont fit in the scanner. I have scanned top and bottom, but if i will try to merge them, the document will be obviously messed with as the darkness of the edge differs a little between the scans. Should i leave as is?
Any other options?

Go to a local xerox/scanning shop near you. Those guys have the machines with a large scan surface that will scan the entire thing to pdf or image file.

Thanks, will certainly try to find a place that has larger scanners! I guess that is the best way to handle this.

Use apps like Microsoft Office Lens or Camscanner on your phone to get large sized documents such as diploma in PDF. Scanners are so old school now. Office Lens/Camscanner lets you save in PDF, JPEG, DOCS, PPTX and upload it to cloud of your choice.

Already using, but are you sure these type of scans are accepted as quality, although ok, is not quite same as with actual scanner.

I used Office Lense for 50% of my documents such as diploma, FBI PCC in USA etc. No one raised any questions.

Try CS (CamScanner) app on your phone. I scanned all my documents using phone and uploaded. And got the PR

In this case, however, today i arranged for the scan of mentioned document from a copyshop.
