Extend my study permit Visa...?

My friend study permit visa is expired in 1 month.

Would CIC allows him to extend it while he has not gather enough fund to pay for his next tuition?

Please advice.

It's hard to say. Normally to extend your study permit CIC wants to see you have sufficient funds to continue your studies. Can he get help from his parents to show he has the funds required?

There is no specific amount of funds need to be shown ...i got approved for extension when i had less than $1000 in the account....also he can attach his latest tution receipt as well...if u fill the form stating that his parents will provide money for lodging the amount in account don’t matter that much

The IMM form where we fill all our information....there gonna be a quenstion related who is gonna pay for your tution and other expenses
