Background processing check showing since 4months

Hello,
I have filed PR under express entry with score of 465 points. Presently, background processing check is being shown and its now 4 months and no update. Many of my friends who submitted their file after 1month of mine received their passport request mail and PR card. Can someone guide me about this?

If you have multiple employers, then this will take a little while. Which is your Visa processing office?

Thanks for your reply. I had 2 employers and I dont know my visa processing office and I did online application and I reside in toronto.

Yeah plz do that ask them questions such as
- Eligibility check has been completed, what’s the result Pass or Met
- BGC check completed
- what’s the Visa office (if u don’t know already, Onatrio based people are getting their files processed at locations such as Calgary these days)

Ok! Its just I find unusual as my roommates filed aftr a month of mine and they got it earlier and I am still waiting.

Differs on a lot of factors mate... travel history, country of origins etc, even if you and room mate have the identical work experiences

If u live in Canada, you could ask your local Member of parliament office to see if they are willing to help you inquire. Usually if you file is being put aside but everything is in line. MP inquiry could ask IRCC to at least pay attention to your file so it won’t sit dust forever.
