I had an interview in August 2017 and had to sign the document authorising them to inform my wife.

Even if its hiv case it can still be 12 months processing time.

It can also take longer if they do the 60 day to inform your partner about HIV status process.

Also cic requires more testing and reports from specialists. So the quicker this is done then the faster your app will continue to be processed.
