I never got a file transfer and dont really know how it works. When i looked up where UK applications would be processed it says London on the website. You sure it didn't stay in Mississauga? There's going to be a lot of jealous LVO applicants if you are! Last LVO applicant I can see with DM on the spreadsheet is a 25 Sep applicant.
Ahh, sounds like you might have stayed in Mississauga then as I think people (almost) always get a file transfer notification when sent to another visa office from Mississauga after initial processing, whereas those that stay in Mississauga often don't get a file transfer notice. And then passport docs etc go to your local VO even if you stay at Mississauga.I never got a file transfer and dont really know how it works. It says I have to submit the passport docs etc to the London office!

It looks like the tracking on my COPR was activated today and is on its way to me. Perhaps yours is as well?!Unfortunately no I haven't gotten any clarification - when I logged into CIC MY ACCOUNT this morning things have changed and it literally says "Your Application was Approved" so I am hoping that means COPR is on the way!

When he had to do the rehabilitation it had been less than 10 years but it’s been over 10 now. I’m not really sure how it all works, he’s been the one to figure it out and deal with it all. I think somethings won’t even show on a record after 10 years. How old was his “offense” I had two bad checks back in the 90’s and a prayer for judgement in 2001 for selling alcohol to a minor during a sting at convience stores. It was a fake ID thee person produced and he was 20 not 21 which is legal age in Canada....so judge gave prayer for judgement and I had no fines or probation or anything..... that was 17 years ago..... not sure if time limits on things like this but had to revele these
My hubby has a minor criminal record too. We didn't do rehab as we hired a lawyer to write a legal opinion letter and they said he should be okay because 1 is minor and other was dismissed. Both of his background checks came back clean even though it was less than 10 years ago. His minor one was underage drinking which according to our lawyer isn't a federal crime as well as a dismissed assault charge from a fight. Its best in my mind to let them know everything up front, no matter how old or minor, because more than likely they will see everything. We disclosed everything up front with schedule a and gave them explanations from him/us, all the court docs, the letter from the lawyer, 2 police certificates (one fbi and one state) as well as a clean background check done by his work. When he had to do the rehabilitation it had been less than 10 years but it’s been over 10 now.
