CRS Calculator Queries.

Hello everyone,

I have a couple of concerns with regards to the CRS calculator questions:

1. I have completed a 3 year advanced diploma in a community college in Toronto, ON. Would my level of education be considered the same as that of a bachelor's degree program OR a two year diploma?

2. As I have already worked in Canada for a year, there are two questions listed below that they ask on the CRS calculator which confuses me. For question "i", i chose "1 year". But for the question "ii", im not sure if the "total years of skilled work experience" also counts the experience i have worked INSIDE CANADA or only OUTSIDE CANADA. I have no experience outside the country as i came here as a student and worked on a Post-Grad Work Permit. So i just want to make sure if i can answer "Yes, 1 Year" on question "ii".

i. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?

It must have been paid and full-time (or an equal amount in part-time).

ii. In the last 10 years, how many total years of skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).

Answer for Q1: You can check for equivalency on the WES website even before submitting an actual request. That's the best way to figure out
Answer for Q2: For years of experience in Canada - Yes, 1 Year. For total years of experience - add the experience IN CANADA and OUTSIDE CANADA (in your case 1 Year)

1, It is a 2 year diploma, not evaluated by WES as it was done in Canada.
