If he has an existing visa and he has applied from Canada then he does NOT have to give his biometrics again. His previous biometrics are valid for 10 years from the original date
thing is, he has applied for my open work permit as he is an international student there.

Yes, it is normal. The delay could also be because of Ramadan (in case your visa office or VFS had holidays for Eid) or the weekend.

Hi.i am in the same boat.my sister applied on 10th june and our consultant says still have not recieved bio letter yet and i know a friend who applied on the 10th of june for his mother and still waiting for bio letter.please do let us know if you recieve the bio letterI highly appreciate your help.

Good day pals am princewill by name my agent consented on an online application for me on the 17th of June and he received a confirmation from ircc on 18th of June.. He told me he will receive BIL approximately 24-48hrs.. After 48hrs we didn't receive any notification from ircc Tho i applied for a study visa last year but was denied and i did my biometrics at a cvac am nervous about the scenario pls I need assistance looking forward to hear from you soon thanks.

Don't be nervous brothers it will come up .After 5days I received the BIL.. I understand how you guys feel not to worry the Will convey a mail to you all on ur status. ..remain blessed..
