@legalfalcon. thanks. I've never been to Canada. I applied once for a tourist visa and it was denied. So I ended up never visiting Canada. I've also never overstayed my visa in any other country. Should I put in a CSE to correct this? Could this be what is delaying my application?

No need for a CSE, just request another set of GCMS 2-3 weeks from now and see if there is any change. Sometimes there are errors in the notes which are corrected by the officer on review.

In my notes there are now pages marked with 22(1)(b) under privacy act. I got the notes after becoming a pr. I wonder what there is 22(s)b added to the notes. Please let me know the possible reasons.

If you have a business, you will have a space where you carry on the business, some books you maintain, a rental agreement, the material you buy, the bills for that, there is a whole bunch of things you can show. Even if your business is not registered, you must be paying taxes etc.
You can show all of that to support your case.

May I ask you how to interpret my current situation,

My AOR is August 1st, FSW, outland by that time then came to Canada by end of August.

Here is a current status screenshot:

I've just received my GCMS notes last week, despite it says "updated 11/5/2018" but I cannot find any activity past March 2018n and both activities I am not able to interpret, so if you please help me to find out what these mean??

1- I hope this does not mean my file has just reached Ottawa office since August!

2- Second activity:

It's just so frustrating to wait for 10 months and the waiting does not seem to be soon-ending.

You can get a Certificate of Qualification it does not have to be related to your job. IRCC states that the applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.

IRCC awards points for education, employment, certificate of qualification and they do not have to be related.

However, if you are applying as a PNP, you will have to meet the requirements.

It would be great if you could provide me with some information or link where the entire process to get one is defined clearly.

I'm applying under PR family class. We applied on 14 July 2017 so another month and it will be a year.

In 2011 I was charged with careless use of motorvehicle. I applied to go to Canada on working holiday in 2012 and declared my charge and to my knowledge I applied for rehab then. I got my working visa and entered Canada no issues

I was understood to be deemed rehabilitated so have entered Canada via land border a few times with my fiance for Christmas holidays. no questions asked which is usual for land crossings I read. I applied for visitor visa in match 2018 to stay and play in Canada till my PR visa is approved. the visitor visa was rejected on criminal grounds.

In may 27th after no replies from Sydney visa.offive I sent my application for rehab to get the ball rolling. I'm aware.it can take up to a year for this to be approved . my medical expire in September .

why can't I enter or get a esta even though I got rehabed in 2012? Do you think my application for rehab will be approved in line with my PR? or am I in a sue for rehab then once approved my my PR will continue?

my GCMS notes show acknowledgement of my charge that I declared and sent to VO for review I've got section 16.1C on cases and applications but nothing else has happened since March 2018 at the time i had secuirty and eligbility not started but criminal in progress and they have not contacted to advise to apply for rehab or not so just did it.

any information or advise legalfalcon would be great!

2. My LOE is 05 pages. Is this too long?
3. Do both primary applicant and spouse need to fill and submit the IMM5406E and IMM5669E? Are there any other forms?
4. Can I type details for all fields in above forms and hand write only the names in native language?
5. In IMM5669E, the space is not sufficient to type the educational institute name, type of certificate, field of study in full. Can I type in short form?
6. I have been in Lions Club like few years back. I do not remember the exact dates I was involved in. What to do about the dates asked in "Membership of association with organizations"?
7. In IMM5406E, when filling details in Spouse's form, the Applicant Name & Details should be mine or my spouse's?
8. In IMM5669E, do I need to state all my education, the ones that I have certificates for Attendance/ Participation for which 1 or 2 days training?
9. In Personal History section of IMM5669E, do I need to state records designation wise even though it is with the same employer?

2. YEs, an LoE is usually 1-2 pages. Only the important issues that need explanation need to be there.
3. You only have to complete the online application. No additional forms are required. Only send forms when asked for.

Now sure why you are filling in forms when your application is online.

Is the what you submitted in 2012. If not, then you need to do this before your PR application.

I submitted what I'm pretty sure was a rehab app. in 2012 for working holiday. I remember submitting references etc. if they issued a TRV IN 2012 then I would need to submit a new rehab application again?

I've done it anyway. thought you might of heard of this scenario before thanks again
