Points missing?

Hi,

I am currently living and working in Victoria, BC on an International Experience Canada visa (I am Australian). I would like to achieve permanent residency. I have applied for Express Entry and there are a number of items where I had expected to have secured points:

1. CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education. I have an Advanced Diploma and a Certificate from a non-University. Do I need to have those qualifications verified through ECA?

2. CRS - Skill Transferability – Education. I have worked as a line cook in Canada for almost two years, though I do not have formal education as a cook

3. CRS - Arranged Employment. I am concerned that I have no points even though I have been working in an ongoing full time job for almost 2 years now. The government website says that having an ongoing job for more than a year qualifies, so I am not sure why this is coming up as zero.

I am also commencing my application for provincial nomination in case that helps things along.

Any ideas as to why these points may be missing?

Thanks

1. If your education is out of Canada, then yes you will need ECA.
2. That does not matter.
3. Arranged employment is if you have a job offer. There is another question about Canadian experience, mention two years there and you will get CRS.

I was made a job offer almost two years ago which I accepted and I am still doing the same job today - does that not count as a job offer?

Since you are already working in Canada, apply under CEC.

Weird that you don't get points for arranged employment. In any case I have now applied for BCPNP (90 points).

So, if I receive an invitation to apply (through BCPNP or Express Entry), does that allow me to stay in the country while they assess my application?
