Additional Doc Status Changed to 'Not Applicable' Later (Not sure when) untill now.

Still IP1

hey guys i have a query ..ihave not paid rprf before ,, can i pay anytime now or only when they will ask for it

You can pay RPRF at anytime online.

To pay the fee online go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Make the payment, and send the receipt via CSE.

IF you pay the RPRF now, you will save at lest 2-3 weeks, the process of them requesting, you paying and then it being confirmed.

I paid upfront and I am still at IP1. We both have the same AOR though. Getting nervous now.

But CEC applicants stuck in IP2 for months
Most of the applicants seem to be stuck. A lot of FSW Outland from India have been in IP1 for quite sometime. I checked the immigration tracker according to which many of the Mid March and April Applicants haven't yet received PPRs.

Currently the priority at NDVO is student visas and tourist visas until September. So expect delays.

Please i need some clarifictions..my BG check has changed to your application is in progress,we will send you a message when we start ur background check...does that mean ip1?

Secondly, i got a request letter to upload a new schedule A form bearing original signature..please does anyone have same request and what does this entail?and how do i upload it?...still expecting a response
i GOT THE SAME REQUEST, download the 2018 version of schedule A from the link provided in your request letter. It will be only open in adobe acrobat reader. Fill it electronically and write your name at the end of the form. Everything is electronically. After filling it, go to your PR Submitted application, upload there.

Hi @legalfalcon

AOR- 10th May
MEP- 18th May
Since then my BG status is IP1
Last week I've called CIC to inquire my status he replied BGC is not yet started. And today I have called CIC again to inquire my application, reply is same that my application has met eligibility review and BGC is not yet started.

Do you have any knowledge, why didn't they start IP2 soon after completing IP1? Is it common or something unusual?

The eligibility is a 2 step process.

Step 1: an analyst or a program assistant will review your file and make a recommendation.
Step 2: An officer will then review the notes and the recommendation and make a final determination.

Only after an officer has made a determination, will your eligibility be passed. However, when a program analyst or assistant makes a recommendation, the eligibility status changes to recommended passed. When you call the call centre, they do not look into your file, but only the status, and give you that information, which may not be precise.

Only after eligibility is passed, i.e. by an officer, will the security / BGC commence.

If you want to know the precise stage where your application is at, consider requesting GCMS notes.

Alternatively, you can wait it out. But nothing to worry.

Anyone has any idea how long it takes for them to send our passport back after we submit it? I'm currently in the US and I have to send my Passport to Ottawa

Thank you for details. I'll consider requesting GCMS.
