Hi Everyone,
I'm in a bit of a tricky situation. I got my ITA on March 14th and my CRS is 482 (my husband is unaccompanying).

I ve 36 days left to submit all my documents and the problem is getting the PCC from UAE is going to take a month or so roughly, it's not in my hands.

Now I'm told I have 2 options:
1. Decline the invite before 60 days and re-enter the pool, hence buy myself more time to submit the documents.
2. Wait the full period of 90 days - if i get my documents then i submit. Else, i dont.
what would be the disadvantage if i don't submit all my documents and the 90 day window is up? Can I still re-enter the pool?

Please advise. Is there a 3rd option that I'm not aware of? What do I do?

Since your score is high enough to guarantee another ITA, I think it's safe to decline and wait for further draws.

Another option is to submit your application with proof that you've requested PCC but it wont arrive in time and it's out of your control. You'll need to gather documents, e.g. emails, payment receipts, etc, that can clearly prove that. However there's a chance that the application could be rejected.

If you wait til the very end and decide to not submit, make sure to decline the ITA, and your profile will go back into pool automatically. If you don't decline and just let it expire, your profile will be deactivated and you'll have to create another one from scratch.

If you dont submit documents and you dont decline your ita, you will have to create a new profile.

I would accept this ITA and wait till the 89th day to get the PCC. If you don't have it, then decline the ITA on the 89th day.
If you decline the ITA now and stay in the pool, you'll get ITAs for every draw given your score . And I'm not sure how many ITAs one is allowed to decline.

I'm not sure, but I think I've seen someone say that you can request an extension of the period to submit your documents since you're waiting for the PCC. Again, I'm not sure, but it's worth the try.

You don't have to decline and I would say don't do it because there is a work around.
Instead of UAE PCC you can submit COPIES of the documents like PCC application, mailing receipt etc... to show that your PCC is under process. This way you will be in the pool and once you receive the UAE PCC submit it through IRCC web form.

Delay in PCC is very common and they understand that. If you click "?" in the section where you are suppose to upload PCC, it will say that you can submit the supporting documents and later submit the PCC once you receive it.

So don't worry and don't decline the ITA.

No need to decline your invitation, try to follow up with dubai to speed up the process, make sure you have proof in every possible way that you applied for pcc, show reciept dates, info from the goverment interior website regarding processing times ,etc, explain the situation fully in loe,and then later you can submit your pcc

Your score is good enough so you can decline it and will get another 90 days time period to submit your documents. Alternatively you can prove that you have done reasonable efforts to get your police clearance certificate. You have to attach all written evidence copies of the application, emails or letters as the case may be etc.

Thanks everyone for taking time out and sharing your views. Your posts helped me take an informed decision - to not decline the ITA and wait it out.

I'm happy to tell you all that I did receive the PCC from UAE before the 90 day window was up and i received my AOR on 4th June.

All the best to everyone here.

DO THEY ASK FOR ANY DETAILED INFORMATION AS TO WHY WE DECLINE THE ITA? LIKE DO WE HAVE TO WRITE OR SUBMIT ANY EVIDENCE? OR IS IT JUST A NORMAL CLICKING ON THE DECLINE BUTTON WITHOUT ANY EXTRA ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON IT.
