Travel history is confusing me. Travelled to new country for work!

Hi all,
I am in final stages of submitting my documents. one thing is causing a lot of confusion, that is travel history. I came to UAE from Pakistan in October 2016, searched for a job here and started a job here, since then I have been a regular resident here. from that time till now I have taken a few trips back to my home country for short visits.
My question is, when I came to UAE to visit and got a job, what should I write in the duration of this travel. From October 2016 to _____ ?

thanks. So this is what my travel history will look like, please tell me if it sounds good or should I change anything:

October 2016 to July 2017 to UAE purpose: Work
July 2017 to Aug 2017 to Pakistan purpose visiting family
Aug 2017 to Oct 2017 to UAE purpose work
Jun 2018 to Jul 2018 to Pakistan purpose visiting family and so on.

This is good. In PR application, you will have to mention the date as well.
