Please keep us posted on what happens with the ATIP. For me it, is very early as they only sent my file to Rabat in May but I will be requesting notes in about 2 weeks to see what has been done so far.

I will keep you posted - it may just be a problem with my request - hopefully it won't happen to you. I haven't heard of anyone else requesting GCMS notes from Rabat lately other than Michelle17, so there may be other people that are getting them that we don't know about.

It's still so early for you to order your notes .. u can do it after 10 months at least

Does Rabat VO take long to receive/update medical results? My husband finished his exam Monday and I think the physician said they'd send right away.

In my case, the doctor was very good to send the results the day after my husband took his medical exam. I don't know if they submit it by mail or electronically, but the VO got it and updated his file in less than a week, if I remember correctly. The doctor was even kind enough to call my husband and let him know everything went smoothly and his medicals came out great and they would be forwarding the results to Rabat.

In my husband's case as well, the physicians seem to be super nice. He did his medical in Rabat.

My husband did his in Casablanca. It is good your husband went to Rabat for his. That shortens the logistics and gets things moving even faster. Good luck on your journey!

I was just thinking that if his medicals were done in Rabat and mailed to the VO in Rabat that it should take no time at all for the VO to get the medicals and update his file. That is, if it is mailed. Not sure of the method they use.

From what I heard, the VO is suppose to send an update stating that they have received the file. I have not seen any emails and the status remains the same. How long have you guys had to wait until Rabat acknowledged that they have received the file?

I never got an update. My husband's file was sent to the Rabat VO on October 30, 2017. There was no communication from Rabat until they wanted my husband to provide the original Arabic copy of our marriage document, an updated police check and proof of contact in mid to late March 2018. What is frustrating is that I signed up with them for monthly email updates on the progress of his file but haven't receive anything from them other than their request for more documentation. Very frustrating....

I understand your frustration, not seeing any progress on your application for months can make anyone go crazy. Can you tell me where you signed up for the monthly email updates?

When I created an account for my husband through the CIC website, there is a profile tab. I found an option to get monthly updates on his file. I checked the box. Whether or not you sign up for updates or not makes absolutely zero difference because you won't hear from anyone until they want something from you or they want to schedule the interview. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained, I guess......
