Post Graduate Work Permit & TRV

Hello guys,
I am going to apply for PGWP and go back home for couple of months shortly. I have a question, can I apply for TRV at the same time when I apply for PGWP or need to wait until I receive PGWP and then apply for TRV?

I think you need to wait for your PGWP because TRV are given on basis of permit validity and my guess is your study permit has either expired or nearing expiry.

Just couple of days. My friend actually received it in two business days
