Hello,

I am in real need of help. I have done B.COM through School of Open learning from University of Delhi and WES has evaluated the degree as equivalent to BACHELORS DEGREE ( 4 YEARS) in CANADA. But since the degree was through correspondence, what should i mention in express entry profile under the FULL TIME/ PART TIME study option? I have tried putting it both and it doesn't make a difference in the CRS score. So should i go ahead with part time or full time? Will part time make a difference in their decision making process even if the score says the same?

I would really appreciate if someone can help me in this issue or if someone has gone through the same process?

Thanks in advance.

You can enter as full time

Hey thank you so much for your quick reply. Really appreciate your suggestion.

Just curious, if i mention full time but if its actually part time which i think it is as it is through correspondence, will it be considered misinterpretation even if it doesn't effect my eligibility or crs score.

Unless mentioned as part time..I don't think its part time..you can wait for senior folks in the team who can advise better

I replied to you earlier https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...h-correspondence-from-delhi-university.35664/

Hey thanx for your reply. I have seen that thread before and i got to know that correspondence study is valid for express entry as long as WES or any other approved agency evaluates it which in my case is done. My question is that what option should i choose under FULL TIME/ PART TIME study? Its correspondence so will it be consider full time or part time because WES has just mentioned that my degree is equivalent to Canadian Bachelors degree (4 years) and even my university transcripts or degree doesn't mentions part time but it does mentions SCHOOL OF OPEN LEARNING as my college name and UNIVERSITY OF DELHI as university name.

Hey thanx for the advice and help. I will surely look for other members to reply.

I think you should select as Part Time. But lets see what others think.
Lool.. Thats so confusing.. Appreciate for your suggestion.

Are you claiming any work experience during that education?
Hey mr.preetsingh,

One of my friend is also in the same dilemma.

he is claiming work experience in the last three months of his MBA Distance Learning - he is also confused that should he select the PART TIME or FULL TIME study.

Any advise for him?

regards

I am not sure whether you should put fulltime or part-time, but If you have completed your education by correspondence, you should add "(by correspondence)" in the institution field.

Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS. The discretion remains with the officer to decide if a police certificate is required for the country of the education institution
