Hi I called cic on June 1 and the agent told me my eligibility is done. Is that means passed? Coz not sure if done = passed. My status was changed from IP1 to IP2 on May 30
One question, do you when it was started? I mean when they had started eligibility review?

After eligibility, it’s bgc. According to my conversations with agent, she said bgc she saw could be days, two weeks or months. For which, I’m on bgc for more than 54 days and I called agent on 14th From AOR and she confirmed I passed eligibility and bgc also started. Till now 68th day from aor and 54 days after eligibility passed, I’m still in bgc and she predicted could be days, weeks and months and funny I am the one with months of bgc

Did ur status changed to IP2 after eligibility done ??
If not then thats the reason for delay but in case of Frankie chan it has already changed to IP2
N we have recently seen cases that after status change if took only fews days to PPR ..
so lets hope positive for him ....

I think by seeing overall chats n scenarios here on this forum, i think there is no specific steps or stages that officer would follow. Every case is different processing wise, some applicants has IP1 for more than over 50 days where as some had update n was straight in to IP2 n it is since 50 or more days. Like @strikeharsh said he is waiting n has BGC processing since over 50 days whereas some get PPR right after BGC update. N sometime depends on agent, if you are lucky enough to have good one, they will give you most of details. N some agents strictly says that processing is min 6 months so its too early that we are inquiring about. It all depends i guess.

Eligibility passed = eligibility done
If it’s not passed , rejection happens immediately
So in order for your background check to start , you have to be eligible.
So everything’s quite fine for now

I was referring to suggestions from @legalfalcon a senior member on the forum, his suggestion was to order GCMS notes around 4-5 months in process...
not trying to argue with anyone, telling ya as i know it. Legalfalcon has put together this guide: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/all-about-gcms-how-to-order-read-general-questions-answered.482200/

Read the best time to order notes section. Before i applied for my gcms notes, i asked legalfalcon about it on the Telegram group that he runs and he reiterated what's there in the guide.

Agreed on the previous posts.

I ordered notes on 65th day from AOR.
Is ordering notes any different from calling the agents? Will the notes give us the exact status of the application?Mine has been in ip1 for more than two months and it has been 64 days since my AOR. and finally how much does it cost to get the notes?
