Doubt in regard to work experience for my wife who has done phd

I am new to this site, but the information that we get to receive from this site are of great help.
My wife has done her phd from INDIA , kolkata from 2010 to 2016. She also received fellowship from UGC here in india which we have joining letter in molecular biology division for a period of 5 5. years .
It is also mentioned in the joining letter as she will be a full time researcher in cancer cell department. she also has published paper. The fellowship from government that she will get also mentioned in letter her guide is also giving her experience letter in letter head of institutes along with her research details . The required NOC is present for biologist and scientist in NOC code.

My question is whether this can be taken as work experience for express entry and one more point she received the fellowship every month upto 5.5 years after that fellowship has stopped but she continued working . Could this be a problem in application because there is nowhere mentioned in cic website that experience and salary needs to be current month only during application .It only says 1year minimum experience in last 10 years .
Can anyone help me out regarding this

Experience during a regular education is considered as part time and vice versa.

On the other hand, If you can get a reference letter from your employer mentioning 40 hours of work per week, this will be considered as your full time experience.
