5-6 weeks is way to early, this info can be determined through a phone call and specific questions to the CIC agent
umm, the gcms is going to take another 5 weeks to come in after application. Too many agents refuse to answer case specific enquiries and for good reason. Like I said, they can say anything they want to and you'd have to believe it (not implying they'd lie, but am guessing the sheer volumes must be painful). They cannot do that with GCMS.

I was referring to suggestions from @legalfalcon a senior member on the forum, his suggestion was to order GCMS notes around 4-5 months in process...

Hi All,

I'm currently in IP1 and reside in US. My wife is the dependent applicant and she might go to India for 4 to 6 weeks

Will this impact my Canada PR processing.

Any input on this, will be a great help

Since you have already applied I don’t think there will be a problem.

Only issue I was thinking was about the Indian PCC, but members have said that it comes into play if you have not submitted your application. But will not in your case as your application has been submitted

I was reading this https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/question-about-pcc-validity-if-you-re-visit-a-country.479352/

Please get us some mithai eh :p
