Just want to let you know that i got my passport request on june 4 and today i got updated in my account and the status changed to approved !! I do see people wait for updated in their accounts but i dont think updated has to do anything with it! It depends on case to case. Mine was still showing submitted until yesterday. December 9, 2016 inland applicant

i uderstand it differs from case to case only thing bugs me is every one else got medical request even people from may june 2017 but i dint dint get one and online account says not required

hi all am dec 8th 2016 applicant when i dint received my medicals either when i check my online account it says medicals not required does any one have same and they are doing my background check still

Most of Dec, 2016 applicants got MR in Jan, Feb 2018.
Did you added spouse in the middle of the federal PR process?. One of my friend got same problem.

yes i did but its been 10 months i added her did your friend got his medicals now

I am sorry if you are going through this rough patch. Did u called them asked them?? I have a friend who had this similar case.. he did not received any medicals. He called cic and was told the medicals were sent 1 month back. Check with cic agent if they have your correct email id .

Because CIC will check genuinity of marriage, eligibilty & criminality check for spouse

Does anyone have a recent experience about flag poling at Coutts? The documents you need or hours of operation. Probably going tomorrow or the day after. Any advice would be helpful.

i dont know what they are doing people from 2017 got their prs and some people are waiting for ppr but people like you and me still waiting to see some update

My understanding is account change to approved immediately your passport is stamped after PPR

I believe that too... all i wanted say is that updated in account before ppr is not mandatory. i never got it.. though i checked every single day to get updated. even after ppr request it never showed updated. it showed updated when it got approved 4 days after i sent my passport

Hi All.
Received the much waited Golden Email last night.
Processing time 24 Months and 3 days.. thanks to CIC for forgetting to send Medical request for my wife.

I am an inland applicant with dependants, i am from Pakistan.

Applied for PR on June 3rd, 2016

BG went into process on Feb 27,
Then they extended my medical and emailed me that my medical is extended.

We had a lot of travel history but the biggest delay we had was for the medicals and it wasn't our fault.
But it's all good now.

So your wife never had to submit medical exam ? and CIC didn't even for it rather send you guys with PPR?
