Yes for sure. They don't start security without valid medical.
Couple of years ago, my friend was in the same situation, his criminality was checked but security clearance not started pending medical extension.

Then what he did for this? How much time does his application took for whole process?

My spouse medical also expired on feb 2018. My file location is pnp meds pending in gcms notes. I am dec 29 2016 applicant. What you advice me on this?

on same page, sent on 4th june- return tracker not activated yet ! let be a little more patient - i saw a day before yesterday that someone sent his or her passport on may 22 and the return tracker is still not active.... we need to wait for this one too

Hi, I hv a Qs to all, i heard from my buddy that its not necessary to go on border nd do landing instead one can do it in Edmonton, is there any office? Or any option? Any idea about it please share

you’ll have to call cic to get an appointment with immigration office in downtown edmonton. They’ll make a appointment for you
