I have completed by MCA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The documents required for WES states that they require the an attested and stamped copy of mark sheet and degree within a sealed envelope from the University.

I went to the university, there is no specialised department that handle such cases. On the administrator reception they asked do you want a transcript or just attestation.

Hence the below questions:

• I have my degree and consolidated mark sheet. Do I still need a transcript?
• For now I went with attestation of my degree and mark sheet. Is my approach correct or do I need a transcript?

Additionally while filling up the WES form I entered my Major as Computer science. Someone told me it should be Computer Application. Wikipedia uses this as an alternative "Computer Science/Computer Application". Rest everything is correct. Should I send an enquiry to WES team to get this updated?

You need transcripts. Apply for that only.

Ask your university if they will send the transcripts envelope themselves to WES or they will handover to you.

There is no problem in mentioning Major. You can mention Computer Application for MCA degree.
