I applied/ Requested SCDL Transcript

Sent them (3) colored copy of Diploma + mark sheets and filled form and DD of Rs. 1000 ( for 2 transcripts)

I got their email reply today ( About Dispatching)

............ Your General Letter (Transcripts) is dispatched by Speed Post..........


What does General Letter (Transcripts). mean ???

Does it mean Transcripts ( including copy of Diploma , marksheet etc.) or just a General Letter ?

Today, I received ECA soft copy from IQAS.
-For Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Degree from Delhi University=> Canadian Equivalency: Three- year undergraduate degree program.
-For Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from SCDL, Pune=> Canadian Equivalency: Two-year Graduate diploma program.

No, it hardly matters.
Am getting 119 points with Both degrees even after you'll get the same points if you select only Graduation.
It may can vary either you are married or single (May be 1 point will increase)

I was awarded PGDBA (Operations) from SCDL in 2014 for completion year 2010-2012

Need you support for below queries

1) what is the procedure to get transcripts from SCDL ..?

2) Do I need to send those transcripts to IQAS or SCDL will send it ..?

3) will it come under masters or Two or more certficates /degress/diplomas ...?

4) what will the approx time for whole process ( Transcript to IQAS acknowledgment )

5) Last one , my friend done distance MBA (Marketing) from SHIATS ALLAHABAD after sending the transcripts to WES through courier his Distance MBA was considered in Masters section however if we go through WES portal it shows ( WES does not evaluate for this institution) how ..?

I have also got my SCDL PGDBA evaluated from IQAS and my equivalency is like below. Could you please help in confirming if yours equivalency is also similar. I have a doubt about it because duration of course(2 years) is not mentioned in it. Also, I read below paragraph on CIC website and I am confused as I did not saw the University diploma being mentioned as a keyword in CIC website. Are you sure that we could use "Two or more categories" option. (I have a 4 years B.Tech. along with this PGDBA course).

The key is this line, it includes all the degree assessments from all sections listed in the link you have provided. "University diploma" is listed under "one-year degree, diploma or certificate". As long as your other degree is 3 years or more, in your case it is, you are considered having "Two or more degrees".

Also if we choose Two or more certificates degree or diploma instead of Bachelors degree by how much points CRS will go up..?

There are many people who received positive evaluation for SCDL PGDBA.
You can choose "Two or More certificates" and see the significant improvement in comparison of Bachelor degree by yourself in CRS calculator.
If your IELTS level is CLB 9 (L8, R7,W7, S7) OR CLB 10 (L8.5, R8, W7.5, S:7.5), then CRS points increases drastically with "TWO or more certificate".
Try CRS calculator and see your points with these points

I have more question regarding this. Should I choose the equivalency of my SCDL university diploma as 1 year or 2 year while creating the Express entry profile. There are below 2 closest options available. It looks like the University diploma falls under 1 year as per IQAS equivalency of University Diploma.
