Do you live in Edmonton city ? If yes , then thats not normal.

Yes, i live in Edmonton city. What's common? The mistake that IRCC can make in updating online status or having test and oath the same day?

Yes, you will have both test and oath same day. it's not uncommon. Congrats.

Okay, so i called the call center. They are confused too as in my events list, i am invited for test and there is no mention of oath but on ecas, it's an invite to oath and there is no mention of test. The agent is putting a request for the local office to clarify if i have test and oath both on the same day or if it's a mistake at their end. Hopefully will know something by next week.

Sorry to inform but I don't think its Oath because list of ceremony dates doesn't have June 18, 2018. Please check http://www.cic.gc.ca/citcer/search-recherche-eng.aspx#resultList May be its just typo.

I am just 30 mins drive away from the Edmonton test center. I just wish i could be done with the test and oath the same day, haha. I found another member having exactly the same issue as me with exactly the same dates.

I never got my test status updated online. Below is what i have online:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 29, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 19, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on March 22, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on May 18, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on June 18, 2018 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment.

Yes, i will try calling the call center for some clarification. I am from Edmonton where usually the tests and oaths are not on the same date. Or maybe IRCC just made a mistake by updating the oath status instead of test status because my test is on 18th June @ 12.30pm.

Congrats same date as I applied but after that, there is a good lag. Still waiting for the test date.

I am planning to travel outside Canada for about 45 days.
i am afraid of receiving Finger Prints request while i am out.
Could any body give some details about the procedure of getting the Finger Prints, when and how we do it , do they send us a request form? and we apply that form to whom? , how long the procedure takes ? and how many days we have to deliver it to the Citizenship department?

Here is the feedback based my experience ......They send a letter and also update ECAS - ECAS status does not specify that it is for FP but only says that a letter has been sent to xxxxxxxxx.
FP is required to be taken within 30 days of the date of the signing of IRCC letter.
Applicant has to take IRCC letter RCMP or an RCMP Accredited Agency for FP.
RCMP or the Agency need to have IRCC reference # indicated in their letter.
Should there be no issue with FP, average timelines for FP to reach IRCC direct from Agency through RCMP is 7-10 business days and directly from RCMP to IRCC can be upto 7 business days.

Two December-Windsor applicants here:
1. App delivered - Dec12.
2. AOR - Jan 29, 2018.
3. IP - Mar 5, 2018
4. FP Req received for me only and not my spouse- Mar 27, 2018.
5. RCMP sent FP results to IRCC- April 23rd
6. Nothing heard since then.

Here is a question for you - did IRCC Call Center guy tell you that all is good and they are to schedule a test/interview now?

Considering our IP dates closer to yours, I hope our status should be similar - hopefully!!!
