Today when I logged into mycic account, it showed as "Application/profile updated", after I clicked into it, it became "Submitted". Is this a ghost update?...

I didn't receive 'updated' email though, and I know that CIC today changed their website appearance.. hope it's not a glitch like Feb 27th again...
You don't receive email, you are lucky to see that Updated in your profile. Thats why it is being called as Ghost Update
Stay positive, you might get PPR email soon (hopefully tomorrow). Just pray

When I ordered mine, i never saw this update. Some people reported such thing but my guess is that it is mere coincidence. As I said, stay Positive
don't even think of any other possible reason of such update. everyone of us need PPR email asap Hi guys

Can anyone tell me which phone number they are getting "lucky" with agents? I've tried +16139444000 and +18882422100 about 4-5 times in total. In the end I'm always told that I cannot be connected due to a high volume of calls. Tried as early as 8AM to 8.30/8.40AM Canadian time.
Any suggestions?

I called 613-944-4000 and got to speak to an agent for two times. The second time I had to re-call for 4 times to be able to speak to an agent due to high call volume.

If u can try the earliest like 8am Ontario time when it first opens. You are more likely being able to speak to someone like less than 3 tries
On 2 days I tried around that time but still couldn't get through.. Maybe 4 tries is the charm.
Hmmm 151 days and counting ... last week, I got my gcms notes which I applied on 2nd May.. it appears like criminality not started.. interesting fact is my primary office is etobicoke IRCC. When I asked cic agent they are saying it’s normal.. even gcms notes says that they transferred due to workload.. cic agent just said ur application is within 6 months limit.. I just hoping that I will not lose hope.. too much frustration.. any way I have again applied for gcms notes...hope I will receive it after my PPR mail

Has it ever occurred that when you speak over the phone the agent tells that all the processing has been done with your file, and that everything seems ok, yet you don't get PPR mail for a long time ?
